  1. PAYMENT, SECURITY & CARD PROCESSING

7.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept multiple secure payment methods, including credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayFast, PayGate, Yoco, SnapScan, Zapper, Ozow, and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate.

7.2 Card Acquiring and Security

Card transactions are acquired for Prime Persian (Pty) Ltd trading as Prime Rugs via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, the approved payment gateway for South African acquiring banks.

PayGate uses industry-standard encryption technology (SSL) to ensure all card details and transactions are processed securely. No card details are stored on our servers. For more information, please visit www.paygate.co.za.

7.3 Customer Details and Data Handling

Customer details are stored securely by Prime Persian (Pty) Ltd trading as Prime Rugs and are kept separate from card details entered on PayGate’s secure platform. Your personal information will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

7.4 EFT and Bank Transfers

If you prefer to pay via EFT, full payment must be made within one (1) working day of placing your order. Always include your order number as the payment reference. Orders will only be released or dispatched once payment has cleared in our account.

7.5 Payment Confirmation and Invoices

An agreement of sale is reached when your payment has been successfully processed and confirmed by the Company. You will receive an electronic tax invoice for every purchase.

7.6 Merchant Country and Currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options is South Africa, and all transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

7.7 Responsibility for Transactions

Prime Persian (Pty) Ltd trading as Prime Rugs takes full responsibility for all aspects relating to transactions on this Website, including the sale of goods, customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery of products.

  1. DELIVERY, COLLECTION & RISK TRANSFER

8.1 Delivery is free within South Africa and handled by trusted courier partners. Delivery typically occurs within 1–5 working days in major cities and 3–7 working days in remote areas.

8.2 Delivery dates are estimates and subject to delay due to courier or external factors.

8.3 Upon delivery, the Customer or authorised representative must inspect the Goods and sign a proof of delivery.

8.4 Once delivered or collected, risk and ownership of the Goods pass to the Customer.

8.5 The Company is not liable for damage or loss occurring after delivery unless reported immediately.

  1. RETURNS, REFUNDS & 30-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

9.1 Customers may return a rug or product within 30 (thirty) days of purchase or delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging.

9.2 The Company will cover the courier cost for approved returns.

9.3 Rugs that have been used, damaged, stained, or altered after delivery cannot be returned.

9.4 Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after inspection and approval of the returned Goods.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 The Website and its contents are provided “as is.” The Company does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free.

10.2 The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of the Website or Goods, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10.3 You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims or damages arising from your use of the Website or any breach of these Terms.
